Dr. Nicola Carone’s research interests focus on parenting, attachment, and child development in diverse family forms, including LGBTQ+ parent families, families formed through assisted reproduction, and single parent families. Currently, he is also interested in attachment-based parenting interventions (VIPP-SD, CONNECT). He has expertise in both qualitative and quantitative analytic techniques. In 2020, He joined the US National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study (NLLFS) team directed by Dr. Nanette K. Gartrell.
